The Global Braille Translator

GBT is the Enabling technology by Arabic Textware for vision-impaired people; it is a full suite for multi language/ Braille translation services.

A Windows application to serve blind people in producing printed materials in Braille. GBT meets open standards and provides blinds with latest technology available for sighted people. It provides Bilingual translation for Microsoft Word documents.

GBT has its own menu built within Ms Word's menu, and uses any embosser to get Braille output without the need for special drivers or handling. It provides a Braille TrueType font for many languages, so a screen version of Braille output can be produced and validated before embossing.
